How it works
Go to Settings → Property and enter the local rate per person per night
Open a confirmed or in-house booking
Click "Add city tax": the system calculates nights × adults × rate automatically
The charge appears in the folio, ready to be included on the final receipt
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle exemptions for children?
The automatic calculation counts only the adults on the booking, in line with most Italian municipalities, which exempt minors.
Can I have different rates for different periods?
The local rate is set at property level. If your municipality applies seasonal rates, update it manually when it changes.
