About us

We built the property management system we wished we had.

The FrontDesk story

FrontDesk grew out of a simple frustration: hotel management software costs a fortune, is hard to use, and is often built for hotel chains with dozens of staff. If you run a 4-room B&B or a small country hotel, you're stuck choosing between tools that cost thousands of euros a year — or Excel.

So we decided to build the third option: a modern, intuitive, complete PMS at a price small properties can actually afford. It was born in Italy, so local compliance — like Italy's guest registration and tourist tax — is built in from day one.

What we believe

Simple, without compromise

Management software shouldn't need training. If you need a manual to figure out how to check a guest in, the software has failed. FrontDesk is designed to be used without explanations.

Zero errors by design

Double bookings shouldn't be "handled" — they should be impossible. Guest folios shouldn't need fixing — they should always be right. The interface steers you toward the right action, not toward mistakes.

Built for small, independent properties

FrontDesk is designed around how a front desk actually works, whether it is a family-run guesthouse or a 300-room hotel in a group. And because it was born in Italy, local rules such as the tourist tax and guest registration (Alloggiati Web) are handled out of the box.

Affordable

Enterprise PMSs charge per room and lock you into long contracts. You can try FrontDesk for 14 days without a credit card, then it is €39/month per property whatever its size. No asterisks.
