Departure, stayover or deep clean: a check-out room needs a full turnover, a stayover needs a lighter service that respects the guest’s belongings, and a periodic deep clean covers what daily routines skip, from mattresses to vents.
A written checklist keeps the standard the same whoever cleans the room, speeds up training for seasonal staff and makes inspections objective: the supervisor checks the list, not their memory.
Print one per room type and keep it on the housekeeping trolley. Add your own items, such as welcome amenities or local rules, before printing.
