FrontDesk vs Beddy
Beddy (Zucchetti group) sells an all-in-one suite by quote. FrontDesk does less, says so, and costs an amount you can read right away.
How we compare: we receive no commission from Beddy and have no commercial relationship with them. Information about Beddy comes from its official public pages, checked on September 19, 2026 (link below). Prices change: always check the official source before you decide. FrontDesk's gaps are written on this page just as plainly as its strengths.
How you pay, on each side
Beddy
All-in-one suite (PMS, channel manager, booking engine), price on request.
- • The product pages show no figures: the intended path is a free demo followed by contact with sales.
- • It's positioned as all-in-one: PMS, channel manager, booking engine, rate checker and brand protection tools in a single product.
- • Channel connections to the channel manager are listed as free.
- • The product is part of the Zucchetti group's offering, with a network of local resellers and installers.
FrontDesk
One plan, public pricing, no quotes
- • 14-day free trial of every feature, no credit card.
- • €39/month per property — not per room — with a managed cloud database and multi-device sync.
- • No minimum term, no setup fee, cancel anytime yourself from Settings.
- • Planner, folio, housekeeping, reports and local compliance modules (e.g. Italy's tourist tax and Alloggiati Web export) included.
Feature by feature
FrontDesk comes with a 14-day trial of every feature, no credit card asked: you only pay if you keep it.
FrontDesk Pro costs €39/month per property, not per room: your bill doesn't grow as you do.
In Italy these are legal requirements, so any PMS sold there covers them. In FrontDesk they're included in the single plan, no add-on.
This gap is real and worth saying plainly: FrontDesk only syncs via public iCal feeds (Booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO), with no certified two-way connection. If you sell on many OTAs and need automatic rate push, a commercial channel manager does a job FrontDesk doesn't do today.
FrontDesk gives every property a public direct-booking page (real availability, prices, and requests that land in your quotes) that you can link from your website or social profiles. It isn't yet a widget you embed on your own site, and guests can't pay online yet: those come later.
The FrontDesk demo is online with sample data and asks for nothing: /demo. No forms, no calls.
With Beddy the path is demo, then quote. FrontDesk's price is public on /pricing.
Beddy relies on the Zucchetti network: if you want someone to come and set the system up for you, FrontDesk has nothing equivalent.
When Beddy makes sense
- • You want a single vendor for PMS, distribution and website, under one contract.
- • You need local support and someone to do the setup for you.
- • You already use other Zucchetti products and want to stay in the same ecosystem.
When FrontDesk makes sense
- • You don't want a suite: you want the PMS, working today, at a price you know.
- • You set up the property yourself and don't need an installer.
- • You want to try it at zero cost before committing a cent.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Beddy cost?
The official product pages, checked on September 19, 2026, show no figures: the intended path is a free demo followed by a quote. Third-party estimates are out there, but we don't report them because they can't be verified against the official source.
Is FrontDesk a full alternative to an all-in-one suite?
No. A suite like Beddy includes a channel manager and booking engine; FrontDesk covers the PMS (planner, bookings, folio, housekeeping, rates, reports, local compliance) and syncs OTAs via iCal only. If you need everything in one product, the suite does more. If you need a well-built PMS at a predictable cost, FrontDesk covers that part.
What does it cost me to try FrontDesk?
Nothing, and you don't have to talk to anyone: the online demo with sample data is at /demo, and the 14-day free trial needs no credit card.
