FrontDesk vs WuBook (ZaK)
WuBook's ZaK doesn't publish a price list: you get a price after a quote. With FrontDesk, you can read the price right now.
How we compare: we receive no commission from WuBook (ZaK) and have no commercial relationship with them. Information about WuBook (ZaK) comes from its official public pages, checked on September 19, 2026 (link below). Prices change: always check the official source before you decide. FrontDesk's gaps are written on this page just as plainly as its strengths.
How you pay, on each side
WuBook (ZaK)
No public price list: a tailor-made offer after contacting sales.
- • The official pricing page shows no figures: it invites you to contact the sales team for "a tailor-made offer, based on your real needs".
- • Price depends on property type, country, number of units, requirements and local regulations.
- • A basic tier of the PMS can be used for free ("Start using basic PMS for free").
- • Channel manager, booking engine and PMS are separate components: the price of one isn't the price of the bundle.
FrontDesk
One plan, public pricing, no quotes
- • 14-day free trial of every feature, no credit card.
- • €39/month per property — not per room — with a managed cloud database and multi-device sync.
- • No minimum term, no setup fee, cancel anytime yourself from Settings.
- • Planner, folio, housekeeping, reports and local compliance modules (e.g. Italy's tourist tax and Alloggiati Web export) included.
Feature by feature
FrontDesk comes with a 14-day trial of every feature, no credit card asked: you only pay if you keep it.
FrontDesk Pro costs €39/month per property, not per room: your bill doesn't grow as you do.
In Italy these are legal requirements, so any PMS sold there covers them. In FrontDesk they're included in the single plan, no add-on.
This gap is real and worth saying plainly: FrontDesk only syncs via public iCal feeds (Booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO), with no certified two-way connection. If you sell on many OTAs and need automatic rate push, a commercial channel manager does a job FrontDesk doesn't do today.
FrontDesk gives every property a public direct-booking page (real availability, prices, and requests that land in your quotes) that you can link from your website or social profiles. It isn't yet a widget you embed on your own site, and guests can't pay online yet: those come later.
The FrontDesk demo is online with sample data and asks for nothing: /demo. No forms, no calls.
FrontDesk's price is public and simple (€39/month per property, 14-day free trial). With WuBook, you get a number after a quote built around your case.
WuBook covers channel management (WooDoo), booking engine, rate checker and a network of integrations that FrontDesk doesn't have.
When WuBook (ZaK) makes sense
- • Your property has special requirements (multiple properties, local regulations, specific integrations) and you want a tailor-made setup.
- • You need a mature channel manager with many direct connections.
- • You don't mind going through sales before you know what you'll spend.
When FrontDesk makes sense
- • You want to decide today, by reading a price, without a round of quotes.
- • What you need is the day-to-day front desk work, not multi-channel distribution.
- • You want a bill that stays predictable month after month, whatever your room count.
Frequently asked questions
How much does WuBook ZaK cost?
The official pricing page, checked on September 19, 2026, shows no figures: WuBook builds a tailor-made offer based on property type, country, number of units and local requirements. The only way to find out is to ask for a quote. We don't report third-party estimates here: they'd be numbers nobody can verify.
WuBook has a free version too: what's the difference?
WuBook offers a basic tier of its PMS for free, designed as an entry point to its paid services. FrontDesk has no crippled free tier: one plan with every feature, €39/month per property, and a 14-day trial of the whole product.
Can I migrate from ZaK to FrontDesk without losing bookings?
Future bookings come across via file, from FrontDesk's import page; OTA calendars re-sync via iCal. Practical advice: migrate in the low season and run both systems side by side for a few days before switching off the old one.
